摘 要:目前学界通常认为成长小说起源于西方。这种观点最大的问题是以西方价值体系作为参照去勾勒或界定中国文学的发展。中国传统文学不存在西方定义上的成长小说,但一直有成长母题的存在。中国传统文化中的“整体思维”决定了其成人观不局限于个体成长,而是天人合德的双向成就,反映在文学上就是一种不断向上的成长,直到能超越现实的有限性。《西游记》中孙悟空从顽猴到“斗战胜佛”的心灵成长是中国式成长母题的典型代表。梳理以《西游记》为经典文本的中国成长母题意在揭示西方文学批评框架下被遮蔽的另一种文学样态,并最终在学界深入挖掘、整理和研究传统文化的基础上,建构具备主体性和原创性的本土文学批评价值体系。The academic community currently believes that Western world is where the initiation novel first appeared.The major issue with this perspective is that it attempts to explain or define the evolution of Chinese literature using the values of the West as a reference.In the Western definition of traditional Chinese literature,there is no growth novel,but there has always been a growth motif.Traditional Chinese culture’s“wholeness mode of thought”establishes that its understanding of adulthood goes beyond personal development to include a two-way attainment of harmony between man and nature.Literature exhibits a kind of unceasing evolution till it can surpass the bounds of reality.The spiritual development of Sun Wukong in Journey to the West,from obstinate monkey to“Winning Buddha”,is a typical example of the Chinese growth motif.Sorting out the Chinese growth motif using Journey to the West as a classic text is an attempt to reveal a different literary style that has been hidden within the parameters of Western literary criticism.Finally,on the basis of in-depth excavation,sorting,and research of traditional culture in academic circles,a local literary criticism value system with subjectivity and originality is constructed.
