单粒子瞬态对电荷重分配型DAC的影响及加固研究

摘  要:数模转换器(digital-analog converter,DAC)作为一种开关电容电路,对单粒子瞬态非常敏感.当单粒子轰击DAC电容阵列的开关以及控制信号时,将会使DAC的输出电压发生永久的或暂态的改变.通过分析电荷重分配型DAC电容阵列等效电路,研究了当DAC开关分支上发生单粒子瞬态时,DAC输出端的瞬态电压变化情况.研究结果表明:对于分段式电容阵列,发生在高段位电容阵列开关分支的单粒子瞬态对DAC输出电压影响较大,并且DAC输出端的瞬态电压形状与双指数脉冲电流源一致.发生于低段位电容阵列开关分支的单粒子瞬态,对DAC输出电压的影响相对较小,但是存在明显的过冲现象.相对于发生在开关低位控制信号的单粒子瞬态,发生在开关的高位控制信号的单粒子瞬态对DAC的影响更大.通过增加传输门的宽长比,单粒子轰击开关引起的DAC输出端瞬态电压幅值按比例下降.通过采用时域冗余保护门和冗余开关,可以使开关控制端引起的DAC输出端瞬态电压幅值从0.78 V降到0.016 V.As a switched-capacitor circuit,digital-analog converter(DAC) is very sensitive to single event transient(SET).DAC output voltage will occur permanent and transient change when a particle strikes the switches of DAC capacitor array.By analyzing the equivalent circuit of DAC,DAC output voltage varied is researched when a particle strikes the switch of DAC.The results show that,for the segmented DAC,SET occurring at the switches of MSB array has greater impact on the DAC output,and the shape of the transient output voltage is similar to double exponential pulse current source.The impact is relatively small when SET occurs at the switch of LSB array,but the DAC output occurs overshoot phenomenon.Compared to SET occurring the low bit control signal of switches,SET occurring the high bit control signal has greater impact on DAC.By increasing the W/L of transmission gate,the DAC output voltage induced by SET occurring at the switches can be reduced in proportion.By adopting guardgate based on time domain and redundancy switch,the amplitude of transient DAC output voltage induced by the SET occurring the control signal can be reduced from 0.78 V to 0.016 V.
