摘 要:关于孔子《春秋》的性质,古人或以为“经”,或视作“史”。本文立足于汉人视《春秋》为“刑书”的立场,重新审视《春秋》作为“经”的性质。文章认为,《春秋》所以成为“刑书”,实在于孔子曾有得君行道乃至得国自王的本志,而《春秋》不过是孔子用以治世之书,即作为“一王之法”面已。后儒深讳斯旨,遂抑孔子为“素王”,以为孔子不过假《春秋》而“为汉制法”。尤其自魏晋以后,更有贬《春秋》为“史”者,以为孔子不过明道之圣人,抑或“万民之表率”而已,如是儒家经世致用之精神遂晦暗不明。About the nature of Chun Qhiu,the ancients thought it was a"classic"or a"history".Based on the Han people's view of Chun Qiu as the"book of punishment",this paper rexamines the nature of Chun Qiu as the"classics".The aricle believes that the reason why Chun Qiu became the"book of punishment"is that Confucius once had the original intention of gtting the king to walk the road and even get the country from the king.While Chun Qiu is just a book used by Confucius to gover the world,that is,as the"law of a king".Later,Confucianism deeply taboo this purpose,8so it suppressed Confucius as the"plain king"and thought that Confucius was only rely on Chun Qiu as a Han dynasty law.Especially after the Wei and Jin Dynasties,there were those who blitled Chun Qiu as"history",thinking that Confucius was only a sage of the enlightened way,or a"model for all the people".Thus the spint of Confucianism to apply itself to the world was obscure.
