摘  要:在“新世界文学”的倡导者中,达姆罗什将阅读模式提升到本体论的重要程度。他通过关注不同民族文学史上的旅行写作加深全球化思考,提出跨越式阅读的多种模式来认识越来越多的难以按照民族语言归类的文本,努力打破文化资本的掌控,拓宽新的经典阅读文本,以形塑一个动态的“新世界文学”。这一阅读模式也因不排斥翻译文本、缺少多民族语文学的精专分析、丧失对不同文化差异的深度理解而备受诟病。但将之放进美国19世纪末期开始的“文学”学科确立与人文学传统中,“新世界文学”带有通识性和注重文学教育功能而非专业语言能力的特征,就可以得到理解。Among the advocates of“new World literature”,Damrosch elevated the mode of reading to the importance of ontology.He shaped a dynamic“new world literature”by focusing on the travel writing in the history of different ethnic literature and deepening the thinking of globalization,proposing various modes of cross reading,recognizing more and more texts that are difficult to be classified according to national languages,striving to break the control of cultural capital and expanding new classic reading texts.This reading model has been criticized for not excluding translated texts and lacking precise analysis of multi-ethnic philology and a deep understanding of cultural differences.However,the characteristics of generality and emphasis on the function of literary education rather than professional language ability can be understood in the context of the establishment of the discipline of“literature”and the tradition of humanistic that began in the late 19th century in the United States.
