摘　　要：小说《美食·祈祷·爱》涉及意大利、印度和印度尼西亚三国,空间叙事理论视角的分析因之必要且可行。物理空间的切换推动了心理空间的建构,并在圆圈螺旋的空间叙事形式下反映主人公的自我跨越。跨国空间变换的叙事构建了作品的跨文化比较话语模式,形成相互照应的异域文化阅读体验及由此引发的哲理性反思,这对理解空间叙事及跨文化交际理论有一定的指导意义。The current study approaches the novel,Eat Pray Love,from space narrative theory with three space factors as the analyzing method.The shift of physical space leads to the reconstruction of the heroin’s psychological space,and thus the overcoming of her depressions.These are all shaped in spatial form spiraling upward.It is found that the key to the success of this novel lies in the adoption of the discursive strategy with intercultural comparative features.The novel study as a case is a practical way to the understanding of space narrative theory and that of intercultural communication.
