《政府工作报告》英译本的计量文体特征与外宣效果研究

摘　　要：文章将统计学的量化方法与定性分析相结合,对比研究中美政府工作报告的文体风格与外宣效果。研究发现:系统聚类能够有效区分二者的文体风格;相比《国情咨文》,《政府工作报告》英译本呈现出较为正式的书面语体特征,文本难度较高;《政府工作报告》英译本塑造了中国政府积极作为,携手与各国共同发展的形象。引入统计学的量化方法,弥补了定性研究的不足;同时,研究结果对于提升政治文本的外宣效果具有一定借鉴意义。This paper combines the quantitative method of statistics with the qualitative analysis to compare the style and publicity effect of the Chinese and American government work reports. It is found that hierarchical clustering can effectively distinguish their stylistic features. Compared with “The State of the Union Address”,the English version of “The Government Work Report” presents a more formal written style, which makes the text more difficult. The English version of “The Government Work Report” has shaped the image of the Chinese government as an active partner in the common development with other countries. The introduction of quantitative methods of statistics makes up for the shortage of qualitative research. At the same time, the results of the study can be used for reference to improve the publicity effect of political texts.
