论中国古代小说中诗歌的功能

摘　　要：自《论语》“不知诗,无以言”之后,诗歌就渗透进了中国人的生活,当然也包括作为叙事文学的古典小说。韵散结合的形式是中国古典小说的重要特色,在内容叙事方面具有描写、抒情、评论三种功能。小说诗歌的描写功能体现在人物刻画、情节构建以及环境烘托三个方面,抒情功能则体现在代人物赋诗、展现作者才华以及添加娱乐性三个方面,评价功能则体现在文中作者评议以及开篇或结尾的评述两个方面。总体上说,小说诗歌影响到了小说叙事的几乎所有方面,而这种诗歌化的小说才是中国式的叙事方式。Since The Analects of Confucius“Does not know poetry,has no words”,poetry has penetrated into Chinese people’s life,of course,including classical novels as narrative literature.The combination of rhyme and rhyme is an important feature of Chinese classical novels,and it has three functions of description,lyricism and commentary in content narrative.The description function of novel poetry is embodied in three aspects:character characterization,plot construction and environment contrast.The lyrical function of novel’s poetry is reflected in three aspects:writing poems on behalf of characters,showing the author talent and adding entertainment.The evaluation function of novel’s poetry is reflected in two aspects the author comment in the text and the comment at the beginning or the end.Generally speaking,novel’s poetry affects almost all aspects of novel narrative,and this poetic novel is the Chinese style of narrative.
