摘　　要：The present letter to the editor is related to the study titled "Gallstone associatedceliac trunk thromboembolisms complicated with splenic infarction: A casereport". Although gallstones are relatively common diseases, its association withthromboembolism is not fully understood. We aim to emphasize the potentialmechanism of this relationship in this letter. In addition, we wanted to contributeto the causes of the spleen infarction and celiac trunk pathologies.
