“浅近”何为——胡仔评义山诗及《四库全书总目》的辨正  

What Is "Shallow and Near":Hu Zi’s Review on Yishan’s Poetry and the Correction of The General Catalogue of the Si Ku Quan Shu

摘　　要：胡仔在《苕溪渔隐丛话》中评义山诗为“浅近”,这一负面评价在李商隐诗歌评价史上所见较少,甚至与“锻炼精粹”的主流观点冲突。细论之,此评含义有二,一是浅显通俗,二是浅薄尖酸。这与胡仔所在时代的风尚习气及其本人的诗学观念有关:南渡时期的文学转向、对平淡诗风的喜爱使其刻意立偏颇之论,批驳西昆诗风;而胡仔对元祐诗学的尊崇以及对宋学精神的吸纳使其以传统诗教温柔敦厚之旨衡量义山诗。而《四库全书总目》对“浅近”之论进行辨正,一方面厘清义山诗与西昆体的界限,另一方面也阐明义山诗中的风雅精神,力图理性、立体地评价义山诗。Hu Zi commented on Yishan’s poetry as "shallow and near" in Series of Poetic Notes Taken by the Recluse of the Brook Tiao.Such negative review is rather rare in the history of Li Shangyin’s poetry reception.Exploring in detail,this review could be explained in two ways:one is easy to read and understand,and the other is shallow and acerbic.This is related to the fashion and habits of Hu Zi’s time and his own poetic concepts.On the one hand,the literary turn of the Nandu period and the love of the bland poetic style made him deliberately biased to refute the Xikun poetic style.On the other hand,Hu Zi’s reverence for Yuanyou’s poetics and the absorption of the spirit of Song Studies led him to measure Yishan’s poetry with the gentle and generous tenet of traditional poetry.The General Catalogue of the Si Ku Quan Shu corrects the review of "shallow and near" with the purpose of clarifying the boundary between Yishan’s poetry and Xikun style poetry,and evaluating Yishan’s poetry in a rational and all-round way by expounding the elegant spirit in Yishan’s poetry.
