摘　　要：英汉翻译之所以要考虑跨文化背景和转换技巧,与英文和汉语之间存在的多方面差异有直接关系,造成差异的影响因素包括地域环境因素、历史社会因素、文化背景因素、生活习惯因素、宗教信仰因素,以及习俗因素等。基于不同的影响提出归化策略、相悖策略、句式转换翻译、词类转换翻译等针对性的翻译技巧,对于提升英汉翻译质量水平、体现翻译者的译文风格具有重要意义。The reason why English translation should consider cross-cultural background and conversion skills is directly related to the differences between English and Chinese.The factors that cause the differences involve regional environment,history and society,cultural background,living habits,religious belief and custom.In order to improve the quality of English-Chinese translation and reflect the translation style of the translator,it is of great significance to put forward targeted translation skills,such as domestication strategy,conflict strategy,sentence pattern conversion translation and word-class conversion translation.
