Modern studies have shown that angiogenesis is an important structural basis for neurological function recovery of ischemic stroke.Traditional Chinese medicine plays a role of multi-target,multipathway and multi-link regulation and promotion in the process of promoting angiogenesis, which has been a potentially effective method for therapeutic angiogenesis, but the mechanism of its effect remains unclear. In recent years, the research on the mechanism and effective intervention of angiogenesis based on signaling pathway has become a hot issue in the field of stroke remodeling. The connotation of traditional Chinese medicine of angiogenesis and the research progress of the regulating effect of traditional Chinese medicine on signal pathways related angiogenesis of ischemic stroke were summed up in this paper,in order to provide new methods for basic research on the promotion of neurological function recovery after stroke by traditional Chinese medicine.
