刘逢禄易学之公羊学意蕴探微  

On the Connotations Derived from Gongyang’s Commentary on the Springs and Autumns Annals in Liu Fenglu’s Scholarship on the Changes

摘　　要：刘逢禄的学术贡献并不仅限于重述、张大公羊学,还在于以公羊学为核心阐释其他经典。既往研究多聚焦于刘逢禄的公羊学思想,而对其易学的公羊学意蕴鲜有关注。刘逢禄深入探讨了《春秋》与《周易》的会通问题。在他看来,文王作《易》之初心在于忧患万世,孔子继承文王遗志并效法之而作《春秋》,两书都有彰显王心、微言改制的目的。以此为基础,刘逢禄援引《公羊》义来解释《周易》,并借《公羊传》之语佐证易理,从而将公羊学思想贯穿在易学诠释当中。刘逢禄虽然贯通了《春秋》与《周易》,但以公羊为宗的经学理念致使其易理阐发有失客观,甚至不免有穿凿比附之嫌。Liu Fenglu’s(1776-1829) academic contribution is not only limited to the restatement and expounding of Gongyang’s scholarship on the Springs and Autumns Annals,but also to the interpretation of other classics with his view on Gongyang’s Commentary as the core. Most previous studies focused on Liu Fenglu’s thought on Gongyang zhuan, while little attention has been paid to the views derived from his scholarship on the Gongyang zhuan in his scholarship on the Changes.Liu Fenglu deeply discussed the correlations between The Springs and Autumns Annals and the Book of Changes. In his view, the original intention of King Wen’s composition of the Yijing was to form the sense of danger and crisis towards the future. Confucius inherited the King Wen’s will and modeled The Springs and Autumns Annals on the Yijing.Both books have the purpose of showing the sagely-king’s heart and promoting a system reform hidden in subtle words.On this basis, Liu Fenglu cited the meanings in Gongyang’s Commentary on the Springs and Autumns Annals to explain the Book of Changes and used the words of the former to attest to the Yijing, so as to let his scholarship on the Gongyang’s Commentary thread through his interpretation of the Zhou Changes. Although Liu Fenglu had connected these two books, his idea that Gongyang’s Commentary was the first of the Classics made his interpretation of the Changes lose objectivity, and to such a degree that it could not avoid far-fetched elements.
