摘　　要：范伯群先生主编的《中国近现代通俗文学史》是江苏凤凰教育出版社出版的学术图书,获得了诸多奖项,是极为重要的中国当代学者原创性的学术成果。在该书基础上,范伯群、徐斯年、刘祥安三位作者选取了最杰出的通俗小说代表作,重点介绍,完成了《中国现代通俗小说史略》一书。文章回忆了《中国现代通俗小说史略》的选题诞生、外译立项、作者约请以及组稿交稿的过程。The History of Modern and Contemporary Popular Literature of China with Mr.Fan Boqun as the editor-in-chief is an extremely important academic book published by Jiangsu Phoenix Education Press.The book has won many awards,and is an extremely important original academic achievement of contemporary Chinese scholars.Based on this book,the authors of Fan Boqun,Xu Sinian and Liu Xiang’an selected and focused on the most outstanding representative works of popular novels,and completed the book of A Brief History of Modern Popular Novels in China.The paper recalls the process of the topic selection origination,the overseas translation approval,the invitation of the authors,and the draft compilation and and submission of A Brief History of Modern Popular Novels in China.
