有机整体观与美国华人学者现代汉诗研究的当下取径——以奚密为中心

摘　　要：当代美国华人学者身处西方批评理论中心腹地,对众多的文化研究理论耳濡目染,有近取远观的批评优势。美国华人学者的现代汉诗整体性研究,坚持文学性与文化性的对话互动,在两者的辩证中勾连文学与文化的内在有机关联。他们自觉对文本周边的非文学因素加以综合考量,在文学与文化的互动中,着意将文本还原到具体的历史语境中,整体多维地透视文本的丰富性与复杂性,形成文本、历史与理论的辩证对话,这种有机整体观已成为当下美国华人学者现代汉诗研究的重要方法取径。具体言之,奚密的现代汉诗批评实践,从具体文本出发,却又兼顾文类史、文学史与文化史等多维度的观照,形成“四个同心圆”此一理想的解读诗歌文本的方法。这种文学性与文化性的诗性建构,可拓伸现代汉诗研究的文本结构空间,对现代汉诗文本背后的历史幽微纹理也有着细致的烛照,整体上呈现出一种综合、圆融的氛围和新颖的批评观念、开阔的学术视野,为形塑跨地域的“中国现代诗学”提供某种重要的可能性向度。Contemporary Chinese scholars in the United States are in the whirlpool of western critical theories.They are influenced by many cultural theories and have the advantage of criticizing in general and in detail.The holistic approach to the modern Chinese poetry by Chinese American scholars adheres to the conversational interaction between literariness and culture,and links the internal organic relationship between literature and culture in their dialectics.They consciously consider the non literary factors around the text,strive to restore the text to the specific historical context in the interaction between literature and culture,and view the richness and complexity of the text in a holistic and multi-dimensional way,forming a dialectical dialogue between the text,history and theory.This organic holistic view has become an important method for contemporary Chinese scholars to study modern Chinese poetry.Specifically speaking,Michelle Yeh’s criticism to the modern Chinese poetry adheres to the critical strategy of close reading of the text,starting from the specific text and taking into account the multi-dimensional observation of genre history,literary history and cultural history,forming an ideal method of interpreting the poetry text of“four concentric circles”.The poetic construction of literariness and culture extends the research space of the text of modern Chinese poetry,and also has a microscopic view to the historical subtle texture behind the text of modern Chinese poetry.On the whole,it presents a comprehensive and harmonious atmosphere,novel critical concepts,and broad academic vision,which provides an important possibility of criticism for shaping the cross-regional“modern Chinese poetics”.
