13%。Using methyl methacrylate(MMA)and butyl acrylate(BA)as main monomers,N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide(NMA)as crosslinking monomer and methacrylic acid(MAA)as functional monomers, the effects of the amount of chain transfer agent twelve mercaptan, heat treatment temperature and time on crosslinking properties of self-crosslinking acrylate emulsion were investigated. The effects of crosslinking reaction on the thermal stability and water absorption of latex films were investigated. The results show that the crosslinking reaction of NMA at room temperature can be effectively prevented when the dosage of dodecyl mercaptan is 0.2%;the crosslinking degree of latex film can be improved by increasing the heat treatment temperature and prolonging the heat treatment time;crosslinking reaction can significantly improve the thermal stability of latex film and reduce the water absorption and weight gain of latex film;the addition of MAA can further improve the crosslinking degree of the system, which can be increased by 13%at 120℃.
