摘　　要：作为后民权运动时代向“过去”回归的非裔作家中的一员,里昂·福雷斯特以他的“弗瑞斯特县三部曲”回应了当代关于非裔美国人身份的论辩,为如何再现非裔美国人的历史和经验提交了一份自己的答卷。通过《远古之树》中的经验再现,《布拉德沃思孤儿》中的神话重构以及《双翼掩面》中的记忆重塑,福雷斯特以形式和内容上的“再创造”探寻了生命体验和文学表现的同构,并对历史记忆与个体生存的复杂关系进行了深入的思考。Among the African American writers who revisited the past in their novels in the 1970s and1980s,Leon Forrest responded to the contemporary debate on African American identities with his “Forest County”Trilogy. Through the representation of African American experiences in There is a Tree More Ancient Than Eden( 1973),the recreation of the ancient myths in The Bloodworth Orphans( 1977) and the reconstruction of the historical memories in Two Wings to Veil My Face( 1983),Forrest explored the isomorphism between life experience and literary expression with his conceptualization of “reinvention”in forms and contents,evoking thereby a fresh observation on the relationship between historical memories and individual survival.
