摘 要:在全球化和市场化的经济转型中,高等教育在社会发展中的作用日益突出。随着高等教育承载的社会期望越来越多,高等教育的水平和质量越来越受关注。作为保障和提升高等教育质量的关键因素高校教师,其专业发展受到前所未有的重视。加拿大是高等教育比较发达的国家之一,其高校教师专业发展体系较为完善,且具有自身特色。借鉴加拿大安大略省的教师专业发展成功经验,能够推动我国高校教师专业发展与建设。In the social transformation of globalization and marketization,the role of higher education in social development has become more and more important.with more and more social expectations being carried,the quality of higher education has also received increasing attention.As a key element to ensure the quality of higher education,the development of university teachers has also received unprecedented attention.Canada is one of the countries with developed higher education,and the professional development system of teachers in its colleges and universities is relatively complete and has its own characteristics.Taking Ontario as an example,this paper expounds its teachers'professional development policy and practice,and looks forward to learning from its successful experience to promote the construction of universtiy teachers'professional development in China.
