摘　　要：一位老友曾调侃我是80年代的革命派,90年代的不革命派,21世纪的反革命派。他说这话是因为我的一本文集名叫《视觉革命》,有些观点很激进:而我后来的文章,对某些观点有所调整,同时常常批评原地踏步的前卫艺术。在我的判断中,所谓视觉革命,就是视觉艺术不断地自我更新和自我超越,艺术感受不断展开和丰富。视觉革.命是一个永无休止的过程,谈不上世俗层面的成功,更不可能停滞不前。Accepting western idea completely and combining western and Chinese ideas are the two forms in the visual revolution in 1985.This distinction also reflects on culture and thought.Accepting western idea completely is critical,transcending art,and destruction of good and bad alike.China,for she hasn't ready-made modern thoughts,has to change herself by dint of modern western thoughts.It became a radical social thought because the visual revolution had not reach a perfect stage and the majority opposed to visual revolution.
