摘　　要：博雅教育与职业教育融合是美国顶尖文理学院21世纪以来的重要改革举措。美国贝茨学院实行的“有意义工作项目”构建了纵横互补式的综合性职业训练模式,“循环式”纵向设计、“多模块”横向开发以及“两长一短”的课程嵌入将职业训练贯穿学生学习始终,在保障高质量就业的基础上促进了意义感的获得。贝茨学院提升大学生就业力的教育理念和实践经验对我国大学一流本科教育建设有重要的借鉴意义。The integration of liberal arts education and vocational education has become an important reform measure for American top universities of arts and science since this century.The Purposeful Work Program at Bates College builds a comprehensive vocational training model entailing vertical and horizontal complementation.The“Circular”vertical design,“Multi-module”horizontal exploitation and“Two Long One Short”embedded courses thread the undergraduate study with vocational training,realizing the sense of meaningfulness while ensuring high-quality employment.Its educational concept and practical experience of improving undergraduates'employability are of great significance for Chinese universities in constructing their first-class undergraduate education.
