Objective To study the changes of serum trace elements in children with autistic spectrum disorder(ASD)alone and comorbid ASD,in order to provide reference for clinical intervention. Methods From 2019 to 2021,52 children with ASD alone(ASD group),52 children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)and ASD comorbidity(ASD and comorbidity group),and 104 children in the healthy physical examination group were selected from Jinhua City, and the contents of iron, zinc, copper, magnesium, calcium and lead of the three groups were detected and compared. Results The detection results of serum trace element levels in the ASD group and ASD and comorbidity group were worse than those in the control group, among which the changes of blood zinc, copper and lead contents were more obvious, and the abnormal rate of blood iron, zinc, copper, lead and calcium in ASD group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the difference in the abnormal rate of blood lead levels between the ASD group and the ASD and comorbidity group was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Changes in blood zinc, copper and lead levels may be one of the important factors leading to autism in children, and with the increase of abnormal blood lead levels,it will increase the risk of ASD children suffering from comorbid diseases such as ADHD.
