摘　　要：In this paper,a new combined approximating and interpolating fivepoint ternary subdivision scheme is presented,which can generate C~2 limiting curve.First,the combined subdivision rules are given.Then,using the Laurent polynomial method,the continuity and smoothness properties of the combined subdivision scheme is derived.Moreover,the combined subdivision scheme is compared with other subdivision schemes.Numerical experiments show that the proposed combined subdivision scheme is effective.
