Coronary non-reflow phenomenon(NRP)among microcirculatory disorders within body is a common pathological phenomenon after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI),which seriously affects the prognosis and life quality of the patients. As a significant branch of the theoretical system of Chinese medicine, the‘collateral disease theory’has been improved and formed an independent system in recent years.Since the occurrence of NRP in the coronary arteries has structural and functional similarities with the pathogenesis of collateral disease, this study explores the connection between the occurrence of NRP in the coronary arteries and collateral from the perspective of‘collateral disease’,and analyses its pathogenesis which can be attributed to‘obstruction of collateral’and‘malnourishment of collateral’,and uses the basic treatment method of benefiting Qi,tonifying deficiency and activating collateral and promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis and activating collateral,in order to provide ideas for the differentiation and treatment of coronary NRP in TCM.
