摘 要:散文理论的建设和发展,必以厘清何为散文为基础,这也将有助于散文的写作。不晚于南宋,产生了散文的概念。散文与骈文相对,是一种表达起来无拘无束的文章,其不求对偶,不求声韵。这是散文的本义。中国新文化运动以前的散文,为前散文。前散文,当然也包括唐人所谓的古文。凡此散文,皆是文章的体制。中国新文学运动以来,才确立散文为一种文学形式。百年来,学界对散文的本质及边界始终存在争论。散文的审美性、情感表现、智慧之光和人格意象体现了散文的本质。审美性也决定了散文的边界,使散文与小说、诗歌和戏剧并肩且等高。散文可以分为小品、随笔和纪事三种形式。The construction and development of prose theory must be based on clarifying what is prose, which will also contribute to the writing of prose. No later than the Southern Song Dynasty, the concept of prose came into being. Prose, as opposed to“pian prose”( a kind of rhythmical prose characterized by parallelism and ornateness), is an unfettered prose that does not ask for antithesis or rhyme. This is the original meaning of prose. The prose before Chinese new Culture Movement are called the“preprose”which is defined in the dimension of time.The pre-prose, of course, also includes the so-called ancient prose of the Tang Dynasty. All such prose belongs to the system of the article. Since the New Chinese literature, prose has been established as a literary form. The centennial view of prose shows that there are always debates on the nature and boundary of prose. The essences of prose are embodied by its aesthetic character, emotion expression, wisdom light and personality image. The aesthetic quality also determines the boundaries of prose, and it also puts prose on the same level as fiction, poetry and drama. Prose can be divided into three forms: essay, casual literary notes and chronicle.
