摘　　要：近年来,随着社会政治、经济、文化的不断发展以及国际交流合作的不断加强,越来越多的专业领域开展了国际交流与合作。建筑领域作为城市基础建设的根本,逐渐成为专业英语翻译的一个发展方向。建筑英语变得日益重要,如何提高其译文的准确性、专业性、有效性,成为英语翻译领域的重要目标。建筑英语的译文水平及翻译质量直接决定着能否进行有效的国际信息交流。这就要求在建筑英语翻译中,要使用正确的翻译策略,并不断提高翻译质量,以满足国际交流的需要。基于此,文章将以建筑英语特点为基础,对建筑英语中的翻译策略进行研究。In recent years, along with continuous development of social politics, economy and culture and the increase of international communication and cooperation, an increasing number of professional fields have carried out international exchanges. As the foundation of urban infrastructure construction, architecture has gradually become a developing direction of professional English translation. Architectural English is becoming more and more important. How to improve the accuracy, professionalism and effectiveness of its translation has become an important goal in the field of English translation. The level and quality of architectural English translation directly determine whether there can be effective international information communication. This requires the use of correct translation strategies and constantly improvement of translation quality to meet the need of international communication. Based on this situation, this paper will study translation strategies based on the characteristics of architectural English.
