摘 要:林语堂在跨语际写作与跨文化交流史中成就斐然。他在“中学西传”过程中所凸显的独特多元文化观,以生活哲学作为底色。具体而言,这体现在他对中国古典美学思想的接受、对西方现代文明观念的借鉴以及对自身独特审美意识的观照之中。以身体为浮槎来构筑的诗性审美体验,是林语堂阐释“我之所是”的表达方式与内在动力。他在文学著述与社会批评中透露出重自然、尚自由、求自我的言说取向,促使了合理近情的东方智慧在读者心中潜生根蒂。Lin Yutang’s cross-cultural writing contributes the process of translating China to the West.His narrative characteristics of bringing historical figures to life and his aesthetic strategy of using everyday life to combat crise and chaos can be interpreted as a“philosophy of life”.Specifically,his pursuit of such philosophy are proven in his critical acceptance of classical Chinese aesthetic thought,absorption of Western concepts of modern civilization and actualization of his own unique aesthetic manner.The poetic aesthetic experience,using body as the vehicle,became Lin Yutang’s means of expression and inner motivation for his interpretation of“Selbstwerdung”.It leads him to fashion a non-rigid and non-preachy literary and social criticism style while seeding the Chinese wisdom in the mind of western readers.
