摘　　要：世界著名建设性后现代思想家、有机过程哲学第四代传人大卫·格里芬,两次获诺贝尔和平奖提名,曾被评为“50位当今最重要的人物之一”,他的逝世被学界看作是“哲学巨星的陨落”。他致力于人与自然的共同福祉,主张将爱拓展到有情万物,关爱一切生命;致力于抵抗形形色色的霸道思想和行为,为他者、弱小和自然争取生存和发展的空间。格里芬发展和完善的过程哲学,其广义经验论的一个重大理论贡献,是从根本上克服了主客二元论、心物二元论,消除了自笛卡儿以来西方现代哲学家在人类与自然之间人为设置的鸿沟,从根底上颠覆了人类中心主义。格里芬认为中国的生态文明建设充满希望,并身体力行践行其建设性后现代理念,建造绿色环保的生态屋。他是一位真正意义上忠诚于世界的哲学家,是一位具有侠骨柔情的生态侠哲。David Ray Griffin, a world-renowned philosopher in constructive postmodernism and the representative of the fourth generation of organic-process philosophy, was twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, and was included on a list of “The 50 People Who Matter Today”. Upon his passing, many in academia viewed it as a great loss, describing it as “a giant philosophical star fell down”. Griffin was committed to pursuing the common good of both humans and nature, and believed in expanding our love and care to all sentient beings. He also dedicated himself to resisting various forms of hegemonism and working towards the survival and development of the marginalized, the weak, and nature. One of his major contributions to philosophy was his development of panexperientialism, a theory based on process philosophy that seeks to overcome the dualism of subject and object, mind and body, and bridge the divide between humans and nature that was established by modern Western philosophers such as Descartes. By doing so, Griffin’s work fundamentally challenges anthropocentrism. He found great hope in China’s ecological civilization construction and put his constructive postmodernism into practice, e.g., by building an eco-friendly house. He was a philosopher in the truest sense, with a loyalty to the world and a willingness to stand up for his beliefs. He was a brave and pioneering Ecosopher for our times.
