摘　　要：现代生物医学的发展使得人们对医学的理解更加多样,医学、科学与文化三者的联系也愈加紧密。在《作为文化的生物医学》一书中,来自哲学、人类学、社会学、生物医学等领域的专家学者通过对骨髓移植、医学成像、基因检测等医疗实践的剖析与反思展现了医学技术、科学知识与社会文化之间的相互交织,以及它们对社会文化的形塑过程,强调了“医学作为文化”的研究视角与进路。这一新颖的研究视角和分析方式将对批判性地审视当下中国医学发展中的一系列现象有所贡献。The development of modern biomedicine has led to diverse understandings of medicine,and closer interactions between medicine,science,and culture.The contributors ofBiomedicine as Culture:Instrumental Practices,Technoscientific Knowledge,and New Modes of Life situated in multiple disciplines,such as philosophy,anthropology,sociology,and biomedicine,probed into various medical practices embedded in specific social cultures,such as bone marrow transplantation,medical imaging,and genetic detection.Through a perspective"medicine as culture",they insightfully revealed the shaping and molding process of cultures by biomedical technology and knowledge,as well as their interweaved dynamics.This novel approach will bring benefit to the critical examination of the landscape of modern medicine in China.
