摘  要:在《太阳照常升起》中,勃莱特表现出“离去与归来”的矛盾行为:离开有身体创伤的杰克,是对自我欲望的满足;而最终的回归,则源自其承受着越界后的性别身份认同焦虑,丧失了性能力的杰克可以给她带来安全感。杰克的身体创伤不仅属于个人的生理遗憾,还属于时代文化转型期的中产阶级白人男性的群体状态,展现着他们的性别身份认同焦虑。杰克对勃莱特回归的接受,是对身份认同焦虑的正视与建设性管理,具有西西弗斯式的现代悲剧性。悲剧虽然具有不可逆的时代必然性,但是仍应该透过悲剧看到希望和幸福。In The Sun Also Rises,Brett shows the contradictory behavior of"leaving and returning":Leaving Jack,who has physical trauma,is the satisfaction of self-desire;and the final return stems from her gender identity anxiety after crossing the boundary.Jack,who has lost his sexuality,can bring her a sense of security.Jack's physical trauma belongs not only to the individual physical regret,but also to the collective state of middle-class white men in the cultural transition of the era,revealing their gender identity anxiety.Jack's acceptance of Brett's return is a face-to-face and constructive management of identity anxiety,with a Sisyphus-style modern tragedy.Although tragedy has an irreversible inevitability of the times,it should still see hope and happiness through it.
