摘  要:激光光纤供能技术因其安全性和可靠性特别适合应用于电网监测设备的供电中。电网监测对激光光纤供能提出了瓦级功率需求,作为核心组件,具有高光电转换效率的激光光伏转换器(LPS)对供能系统的长期可靠运行至关重要。基于砷化镓(GaAs)的单PN结光伏转换器可在较低输出功率下获得很好的光电转换效率,但由于开路电压低,增加电流和输出功率会带来高电阻损耗,导致转换效率降低。因此研究了基于单片集成垂直串联多个PN结子电池以提高开路电压和输出功率的方法,并对研制的多结光伏转换器进行了表征测试。测试结果表明,五结光伏转换器的开路电压接近6 V,能以大于54%的转换效率输出5 W功率,且能在较大输出功率范围(约1 W~8 W)保持50%以上转换效率。具体应用中,可根据监测设备的负载功耗和工作条件做进一步优化设计。Laser power-over-fiber(PoF)technology is particularly suitable for application in the energy supply of monitoring equipment in electrical grid due to its safety and reliability.There is an increasing demand for watt-level laser PoF in electrical grid monitoring applications.As the core component,laser photovoltaic converter(LPC)with high photoelectric conversion efficiency is essential for long-term and reliable operation of the PoF system.Gallium arsenide(GaAs)based LPC with single PN junction in general has a very high photoelectric conversion efficiency at comparatively low output power.However,due to the low open-circuit voltage,increasing its current and thus the output power causes excessive resistance loss and finally resulting in a decrease in conversion efficiency.Thus,monolithic integration approach of multiple PN-junction sub-cells in vertical series is investigated to enhance the open-circuit voltage and output power of LPC.Characterization tests of the multiple-junction LPCs indicate that open-circuit voltage close to 6 V and conversion efficiency higher than 54%are achieved at 5 W output power.Besides,the efficiency is maintained above 50%when the output power is scaled in a wide range of approximately 1 W to 8 W.The multi-junction design can be further optimized according to the actual power load and the working conditions of specific monitoring applications.
