In order to deeply understand the application effect of directional lane which is the new organization mode, traffic flow density, exit congestion index, lane change behavior at the entrance and lane change rate of vehicle generation were selected as the influencing factors, and the arrival rate and average speed were taken as the evaluation indexes to build a cellular automata simulation analysis model. The simulation results show that directional lane has a certain optimization effect in peak hours, but the optimization effect is limited in other cases, and the higher the traffic flow density and the exit congestion index, the lower the service level. At the same time, the impact of lane change at high traffic flow density and low speed on the service level is still greater than the conventional lane change, and does not approach the conventional lane change scheme with the increase of the density, indicating that high traffic flow density has little influence on the driving behavior of such drivers. The increasing number of lane changing vehicles has little influence on arrival rate under normal and low lane changing conditions, while the arrival rate will decrease with the increasing number of lane changing vehicles under stop lane changing conditions.
