摘 要:中国历史悠久,为后人留下了众多人文景观,自中华人民共和国成立以来我国就对各景区进行修缮和维护。导游词承担着介绍景区风光和传播各地旅游文化的重任。但各大景区中导游词的英译存在解释含糊、重复用词、词不达意等问题,对旅游文化外宣构成了阻力。胡庚申教授的生态翻译学理论指出,翻译就是译者的适应与选择,为导游词英译提供了新的指导。文章将从语言维、文化维和交际维角度探讨导游词的文本特点及英译方法。China,with a long history,has left many humanistic landscapes for future generations.Since the founding of China,China has been repairing and maintaining various scenic spots.The tour guidewords bear the important task of introducing the scenery of scenic spots and spreading the tourism culture of each place.However,the English translation of the guidewords in major scenic spots have problems such as ambiguous explanations,repeated use of words,and words that do not make sense,which hinders the promotion of tourism culture.Professor Hu Gengshen’s Eco-translatology theory points out that translation is the translator’s adaptation and choice,which provides a new guidance for the English translation of tour guidewords.This paper will discuss the textual characteristics of tour guidewords and English translation techniques from the perspectives of linguistic dimension,cultural dimension and communicative dimension.
