摘  要:在干旱缺水地区,社会如何得以正常运行?通过对太行山区的实地调查,结合民间传说和庙宇碑文,探讨干旱缺水境遇下社会常态化运行的建构过程。在常规手段难以奏效的情景下,民间信仰成为化解因缺水而形成的社会危机的重要策略。通过祈雨仪式,一方面安抚社会情绪,重燃希望,稳定社会心态;另一方面将干旱归因于人的过失,重新强调世俗社会的道德规范,使人的行为重回正常轨道。在竞水仪式中,利用神祇公正无私和强大神秘力量的想象,实现稀缺水资源的合法性分配,稳定用水秩序。借助民间信仰仪式,建构对缺水社会的认知,规范人们的社会行为,维持社会的常态化运行。How can society function normally in water-deficient areas?Through field surveys in the southern Taihang Mountains,combined with folklore and temple inscriptions,this article explores the construction process of the normal operation of society under drought and water shortage conditions.In situations where conventional methods are not effective,folk religion has become an important strategy for resolving the social crisis caused by the lack of water.Praying for rain rituals calms social emotions,rekindles hope,and stabilizes social mentality.Through the rain prayer ceremony,the drought is attributed to human fault,and the secular social ethics is re-emphasized,so that human behavior can return to the normal track.In the water competition ceremony,the imagination of gods’impartiality and powerful mysterious power is used to realize the legal distribution of scarce water resources and stabilize the order of water use.With the help of folk religious ceremonies,construct the cognition of a water-scarce society,regulate people’s social behavior,and maintain the normal operation of society.
