非相关多元化经营视角下传媒企业的业务风险

摘  要:近年来,随着传媒产业的竞争加剧,实施多元化经营战略成为我国传媒企业扩大市场经营范围、创造企业利润的主要手段。在媒介深度融合的背景之下,部分传媒企业通过多元化业务布局实现了商业模式的创新,促进了传媒企业的品牌增值,但同时,也有部分传媒企业在多元化经营版图的重构中暴露出一些结构性问题,尤其是在非相关业务领域的过度扩张,给传媒企业的可持续运营和发展带来了严峻挑战。本文立足于企业多元化经营战略相关理论,以非相关多元化经营为切口,结合传媒企业开展非相关多元化经营的具体案例,围绕相关风险点进行探讨,旨在为传媒企业布局和落地多元化业务提供借鉴。Over the past few years,diversification has become one of the most adopted strategies for media companies in China to expand operations and earn greater returnsas competition intensified.In the context of media convergence,concurrently operating multiple business models has helped somemedia companies create added value andenhance their financial performance.However,over-diversification,especially the increasing number of unrelated diversified businesses,may adversely affect media companies profitability levelsandsystematic risk.Based on the theories of corporate diversification,this paper addresses then egative effect of unrelated diversification on the risks attached to media companies by analyzing some existing examples.The paper aims to promote the understanding of the relationship between unrelated diversification and the likelihood of failure to conduct risk management to assist media companies in taking informed actions.
