摘  要:Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) treatment has been advanced by the development of recanalization therapies, especially endovascular thrombectomy. Thrombectomy has led to a better prognosis at 90 d not only in stroke patients because of large-vessel occlusion in the proximal anterior cerebral circulation, but also in those due to basilar-artery occlusion [1]. Thus, the number of eligible patients for revascularization will continue to increase.
