摘 要:日本科学家的翻译研究和翻译活动滥觞于近世、近代。将这些科技文献译成中文对研究日本科技史和日本科学家的思维方式大有裨益。这些科技文献是近世、近代的日本人用纯汉文、变体汉文候文、拟古体撰写的或者翻译的中国、荷兰、英国等的文献。它们是无标点、难以辨识的手写体文献,文辞艰涩。本文从语法学和词汇学角度探讨了日本近世、近代科技文献的文体特征并结合实例提出针对日本近世、近代科技文献的不同文体应使用直译、直译与意译相结合及意译的翻译方法。The translation study and practice of Japanese scientists originated in the early modern period and modern times.Translating these scientific and technological documents into Chinese is of great benefit to the study of the history of Japanese science and technology and the way of thinking of Japanese scientists.These scientific and technological documents are translated from the documents in China,the Netherlands,the United Kingdom in the early modern period and modern times in pure Chinese,epistolary style(Hou Wen)and quasi-archaic style.They are unpunctuated,unrecognizable handwritten documents that are difficult to read.This article discusses the stylistic features of Japanese scientific and technological documents in the early modern period and modern times from the perspectives of grammar and lexicology with examples.It proposes translation method of literal translation,a combination of literal translation and free translation,and free translation for different styles of Japanese scientific and technological documents.
