摘　　要：小型凸版印刷机是西方印刷工业最早应用的印刷机机型之一,因设备轻巧、操作简便而被广泛使用。19世纪,小型凸版印刷机的发明、改进工作逐步转向美国,对印刷业的发展产生了深远影响。本文在挖掘史料的基础上,从小型凸版印刷机的最初尝试、逐步成熟以及其他改进三个方面,重点阐述19世纪以来小型凸版印刷机在美国的发展历程。The jobbing platen press is one of the earliest printing machines in the western countries. It is widely used by reason of light weight and simple operation. In the 19th century, the invention and improvement of the jobbing platen press gradually shifted to the United States and had a profound influence. Based on the historical data, this paper focuses on the development of the jobbing platen press in the United States in the 19th century from three parts of its original invention, development process and other improvements.
