浅析动物拟人性对角色造型设计的启示

摘　　要：动物拟人性作为典型符号化的艺术创作方法,在角色造型设计方面可点亮角色设计灵感,拓展艺术创作者思路,丰富角色造型呈现形式,精准提炼角色性格特征,升华角色思想内涵,更予观者以直观欣赏感受。动物拟人性的显著标示性和符号虚拟性既具有设计启发之意,又易陷本本教条之泥淖,设计师应立足宏观展演全局,从展演实际出发,扎根角色本体,可从“角色分析→动物选取→拟人化特征提炼→整体角色融合”这一设计思考维度和创作实践流程完成造型设计。在“艺术科技+元宇宙+虚拟数字人”大融合之趋势潮流下,诸多的“角色造型设计+虚拟数字人”已交融与嬗变,动物拟人性本质内核的“显著标示性和符号虚拟性”具有设计理念上继承与创新,在当今形象文本生成、角色人物设定、游戏造型开发、动画角色设计、虚拟数字人造型创设和NFT艺术设计等领域提供诸多思辨、互融和启迪。As a typical symbolic method of art creation,animal personification can fire the spark of character modeling design.To be specific,the method inspires character design,expands art creators’way of thinking,enriches the presentation forms of character modeling,precisely refines character traits,sublimates the ideological connotations of characters,and provides viewers with sensual appreciation.Although the remarkable indication and symbolic virtuality of animal personification can enlighten us with new ideas for design,the very method is liable to lead us into dogmatism.Designers are therefore expected to be holistic,grounded in the reality of the performance and rooted in the characters’identity.They need to go through four steps to complete their modeling design,namely“character analysis→animal selection→extracted features of personification→character integration”.With the integration of“art technology,meta-universe and virtual digital human”,there is a wide range of possibilities as far as the intermingling and transmutation of“character modeling design and virtual digital human”is concerned.The intrinsic qualities of animal personification of“remarkable indication and symbolic virtuality”demonstrate the inheritance and innovation of design concept,and provides profound speculation,interplay and inspiration in aspects of image text generation,character setting,game modeling development,animation character design,virtual digital human modeling creation,NFT art design,etc.
