在现代化史脉络中理解“中国式现代化”  

Understanding“Chinese Modernization”in the Context of Modernization History

摘　　要：“中国式现代化”是一个新命题。这一命题,既是中国现代化自晚明开启其进程以来的、一个中国现代化当下模式的概括,也是世界现代化史持续五百年发展的一个中国果实。只有在现代化史的脉络中,才能找到理解“中国式现代化”的锁钥。现代化史展现出高度关联的社会环节,构成了现代化史的复杂性与中心性线索:只有在现代化的世界史这个大历史线索中,才能认识“中国式现代化”的小历史;只有在现代化的世界史这个国别结构图中,才能辨认“中国式现代化”的驱动力。“中国式现代化”一定是现代化的政治、经济与文化诸方面的一个合成结构。但世界现代化史并不将“中国式现代化”标示为绝对例外的历史产物,它约束并规定着“中国式现代化”的基本特性:现代化是上位特征,中国式是下位特征,现代中国历史被现代化规定了国家方向与发展状态。“Chinese modernization”is a new proposition,which is not only a summary of the current mode of Chinese modernization since the beginning of the process of Chinese modernization in the late Ming dynasty,but also a Chinese achievement of the continuous development of the world modernization history for five hundred years.The key to understanding“Chinese modernization”can only be found in the context of modernization history.The history of modernization shows highly related social links,which constitute the complexity and centrality clue of the history of modernization.Only in the macro historical clue of the modern world history can we understand the micro history of“Chinese modernization”.The driving force of“Chinese modernization”can only be identified in the country structure chart of modern world history.“Chinese modernization”must be a composite structure of the modernized politics,economics,culture and other aspects.But the world modernization history does not mark“Chinese modernization”as an absolutely exceptional historical product,it restricts and defines the basic characteristics of“Chinese modernization”:the modernization is the upper feature,Chinese modernization is the lower feature,and modern Chinese history is defined by modernization as the national direction and development state.
