爱默生的“超灵”学说与中国儒家思想“性善论”的共鸣和契合

摘　　要：19世纪上半叶,美国文艺复兴运动中的超验主义思想家爱默生在其超验主义思想的形成过程中大量借鉴了中华民族的优秀文化遗产。超验主义在美国的出现既代表了美国社会历史发展的趋势,又是东西方文化不断融合交流的结果。爱默生与中国儒家经典文本的渊源、爱默生超验主义思想的“超灵”学说与中国传统儒家思想的“性善论”在人性论和自立方面的共鸣表明了爱默生超验主义思想的形成与发展与以孔孟为代表的中国儒家思想的亲缘性,展现出当时爱默生多元共生的文化立场和中国儒家思想的文化价值和魅力。这一中西文化互动中的主动接纳范式促进了中美文化的交流、融合和互鉴,为新时代中华优秀传统文化“走出去”提供了启示。In the first half of the 19th century,Emerson,a transcendental thinker in the American Renaissance,borrowed a lot from the excellent cultural heritage of the oriental nations in the formation of his transcendental ideas.The emergence of Transcendentalism in the United States not only represents the trend of the development of American society and history,but also is the result of the continuous integration and exchange of Eastern and Western cultures.The origin of Emerson and the Chinese Confucian classics,the resonance of Emerson’s transcendentalism theory and the Chinese traditional Confucian theory of good nature in terms of human ethics and self-reliance show the affinity between the formation and development of Emerson’s transcendentalism and the Chinese Confucianism represented by Confucius and Mencius,showing Emerson’s cultural stand of multiple symbiosis at that time and the cultural value and charm of Chinese Confucianism.This active acceptance paradigm in the interaction between Chinese and Western cultures has promoted the exchange,integration and mutual learning between Chinese and American cultures,and provided inspiration for the“going out”of the excellent traditional Chinese culture in the new era.
