摘　　要：在人类生命实践活动中开显和形成的“空间”特别是“现代性”的空间,被许多学者称之为“社会空间”,这种空间最显著的特征无疑是经济的、政治的社会属性。但社会空间既要永远依托于自然物理空间并受其制约,从而具有自然属性,又指向由文化符号承载的意义世界,从而具有文化属性。在人的生命实践活动中,空间的自然性、社会性与文化性次第展开并相互作用,甚至有矛盾与对立的一面。资本和市场对于现代社会空间的世界性拓展发挥了重大作用,但也强化了人类的逐利取向及其内部越来越激烈的竞争。如何扩大人类共享的公共的自由的空间,提升精神境界,是一个摆在所有人面前的问题。The “space”, especially the “modernity” space, which is revealed and formed in the practice of human life, is called “social space” by many scholars. The most significant feature of the space is undoubtedly the economic and political social attribute. However, social space has natural attribute because it always relies on and suffer from natural physical space. Also, social space has cultural attribute since it reaches the meaning world carried by cultural symbols.In the practical life of human-beings, the natural, social and cultural nature of space unfold and interact, even contradictory and opposite. Capital and market have played an important role in the worldwide expansion of modern social space, but they have also strengthened the profit seeking orientation of human beings and the increasingly fierce internal competition. How to expand the public free space shared by human beings and improve the spiritual realm is a problem facing all human.
