摘　　要：发挥美育育人功能,促进学生全面发展,将美育教育与专业教育相融合已成为新时代高等教育体系的重要内容。美育是培养学生认知美、欣赏美和创造美能力的教育,是现代教育不可或缺的组成部分,具有丰富的思想内涵和人文价值。当代大学美育是社会主义精神文明建设的需要,也是大学生素质教育的重要组成部分。在高校中开设公共艺术课程,有助于提升当代大学生的艺术美学能力,提高大学生的审美品位和人文素养,树立文化自信,增强民族自豪感,有助于使之成为德智体美全面发展的社会主义建设者和接班人。It has become an important part of the higher education system in the new era to give full play to the function of aesthetic education, promote the all-round development of students, and integrate aesthetic education with professional education.Aesthetic education is an education to cultivate students’ ability to recognize, appreciate and create beauty.It is an indispensable part of modern education with rich ideological connotations and humanistic values.Contemporary aesthetic education in colleges and universities is the need of constructing socialist spiritual civilization, and also an important part of quality education for college students.Offering public art courses in colleges and universities will help to improve the artistic and aesthetic abilities of contemporary college students, improve their aesthetic taste and humanistic quality, develop their cultural confidence, enhance their national pride, and help them become socialist builders and successors who are well-developed morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically.
