摘　　要：高职公共英语课堂沉默现象的形成,涉及学生心理问题、教师教育问题等多项内容。本文将以高职公共英语课程教学为核心,分析形成课堂沉默现象的核心要素,并在充分明确高职公共英语课程教学需求及沉默现象教育特点的基础上,制定科学的问题解决对策,以期,为提升新时期高职公共英语教学质量提供教育参考。The formation of silence in public English classroom in higher vocational colleges involves many contents,such as students’psychological problems,teachers’education problems and so on.This paper will take higher vocational public English course teaching as the core,analyze the core elements of classroom silence,and formulate scientific problem-solving countermeasures on the basis of fully clarifying the teaching needs of higher vocational public English course and the educational characteristics of silence,in order to provide educational reference for improving the quality of higher vocational public English teaching in the new era.
