摘　　要：在实地调查的基础上,本文对宁夏盐池县阎王碥石窟进行了较为详细的介绍,同时对其洞窟形制与功能、壁画内容与风格、年代等进行了初步的探讨,认为1号窟为礼拜窟,明代初创,清代重修。The Yanwangbian Grottoes are located at the Dongfeng village in Dashuikeng town,Yanchi County,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.After the initial discovery,the grottoes remained poorly understood for a long period of time due to the lack of systematic archaeological survey.Based on the latest archaeological survey,this paper introduces the specific details of the grottoes,including the shape and function of those caves,the content and date of murals,and the chronology.The authors suggest that cave no.1 should be a worshipping cave that was built in the beginning of the Ming dynasty and was renovated during the Qing Dynasty.
