摘 要:工具性动机突出而产出能力薄弱是地方应用型高校大学英语听说教学存在的主要问题。文章借鉴王初明教授最新研究的二语习得理论“续论”的相关陈述,探讨“听后续说”在地方应用型高校大学英语听说中的教学应用。教师在听力环节注入思辨元素的考量,可帮助学生有效获取信息,增强英语听力理解能力;在说的环节强调语言模仿的重要性,突出产出导向,可帮助学生完成所获信息的有效使用,逐步树立起用英语表达思想的自信。“续论”下的“听后续说”教学模式符合地方应用型高校大学英语课程的校情、教情和学情,既能发挥教师引领学生分析评价听力内容获取语言文化知识的特长,又能有效改善该类高校大学生英语表达缺乏自信的现状,为大学英语教师提供了较好的教改思路。Prominent instrumental motivation and weak productive ability are the main problems existing in College English listening and speaking teaching in local application-oriented universities.This article draws on Professor Wang Chuming s concept of“listening-speaking continuation” under the guidance of“the xu-argument”,the latest theory on second language acquisition,to explore the College English listening and speaking teaching strategies in local application-oriented universities.It is believed that teachers who inject critical thinking elements into the listening session can help students obtain information effectively and enhance their comprehension ability while in the speaking session,those who emphasize language imitation and highlight the output procedure can help students effectively use the acquired information and gradually build up their confidence to express in English.The teaching mode of“listening-speaking continuation”under the guidance of“the xu-argument”is in line with the current academic situation of College English courses in local application-oriented universities and can provide a good teaching reform idea for College English teachers,for it can give full play to teachers competence in leading students to analyze and evaluate listening content and acquire linguistic and cultural knowledge,boosting their self-confidence in speaking English.
