摘　　要：8月19日,首届世界职业技术教育发展大会在华北直辖市天津举办。中国国家主席习近平在致大会的贺信中指出,职业教育对促进就业创业、助力经济社会发展具有重要意义。中国积极推动职业教育高质量发展,支持中外职业教育交流合作。与会者说,习近平的贺信凸显了中国对职业教育的高度重视。Vocational education has great significance for promoting employment and entrepreneurship,boosting economic and social development,and China actively pushes forward the high-quality development of vocational education,and supports exchanges and cooperation in vocational education with other countries,Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a congratulatory letter to the World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference on August 19,the first such event of its kind,which was being held in North China's Tianjin Municipality.
