《本草纲目》“瘟疫防治篇”中医药文本语言特征及翻译策略分析

摘　　要：《本草纲目》是举世闻名的本草著作,其中的“瘟疫防治篇”对于当今抗疫工作仍具有重要的指导意义。对“瘟疫防治篇”提到的中药释名、集解和功能主治进行英译上的功能对等,并被国外读者接受,显得至关重要。本文以德国功能翻译理论为基础,分析《本草纲目》“瘟疫防治篇”中医药文本语言特征及文本分类,进一步总结出直译对应语、注重形合、化隐喻为直喻、音译释译结合、尊重古典文献等五种翻译策略,为指导本草文献的英译实践提供参考,为促进“中医药防治瘟疫”国际化贡献些许力量。Compendium of Materia Medica is a world-famous book,among which the Plague Prevention and Control Chapter still has important guiding significance for today's anti-epidemic work.It is very important to translate the names of Chinese medicines,the collection of explanations,their functions and indications mentioned in Plague Prevention and Control Chapter in English translation.Based on the German functional translation theory,this paper analyzes linguistic features and text classification of Chinese medicine texts in Plague Prevention and Control Chapter,and further summarizes five translation strategies including to translate counterparts literally,to focus on hypothesis,to turn metaphors into simile,to combine transliteration and interpretation and to respect classical documents.This paper provides reference for guiding the practice of English translation of herbal documents,and promote the internationalization of Chinese medicine for plague prevention and control.
