摘 要:本文对2001—2021年国内14种外语类核心期刊刊登的国内高校双语教学研究文献进行梳理分析。在研究方法方面,国内高校双语教学研究中非材料研究占绝大多数,实证研究数量较少,且实证研究方法和结果汇报比较单一;在研究内容方面,宏观研究(如语言政策)较为缺乏,偏中观(如双语课堂)和微观(个体参与者,如学生和教师),内容深度不够(如学生研究只关注其语言学习水平,忽略起影响作用的内在和外在因素)。鉴于此,本文提出,国内高校双语教学研究在研究方法上须加强实证研究,多采用推断性统计结果汇报,并响应国际相关领域的研究趋势,补充效应幅度汇报;在研究内容上应拓宽关注视角,合理融合二语习得、教育学、心理学等领域和学科的研究成果,加强与国内外相关领域学界同仁的学术交流,立足我国本土的双语教学实践与需要,探索符合中国实际的双语教学。This paper analyzes the research papers on English-medium instruction(EMI)in Chinese universities published in 14 core foreign language journals in China from 2001 to 2021.In terms of research methods,non-material research has accounted for the majority,with a relatively small number of empirical studies which adopt single research methods and report single results.In terms of research content,there is a lack of macro-level research(e.g.,language policy),a bias towards meso-level(e.g.,EMI classrooms)and micro-level(individual participants such as students and teachers)and a lack of depth(e.g.,studies on students focus only on their level of language learning and ignore the intrinsic and extrinsic factors at play).In view of this,the paper suggests that in research methods EMI research should stress empirical studies,report inferential statistical results more frequently,and supplement effect size reporting in response to international research trends in related fields.In research content,EMI research should broaden its research focus by reasonably integrating research results from fields and disciplines such as second language acquisition,education and psychology,strengthen academic collaboration with international and domestic academic colleagues in related fields,and explore EMI in accordance with the situation in China and based on local practices and needs of EMI in China.
