从芬格莱特到安乐哲——孔子仁学研究的突破与发展

摘　　要：“仁”是孔子的核心思想之一,而有关孔子仁学的研究也成为了西方儒学研究的重要组成部分。美国哲学家芬格莱特从外在行为特征角度出发来反对西方用“心理主义”视角解释孔子思想,同时突破性提出以“礼”为切入点来阐释“仁”的丰富内涵。而安乐哲则部分承袭了芬格莱特关于孔子仁学思想的研究,进一步提出了“仁”的动态发展过程以及“焦点—场域”等研究理论,使得美国汉学对于孔子仁学的研究有了更加深入的认识。"Ren"is one of the core ideas of Confucius,and the study of"ren"has become an important part of the western Confucianism research.From characteristics of external behavior,the American philosopher Herbert Fingarette interprets Confucius'thoughts from the perspective of behaviorism rather than mentalism,and proposes to use"li"as a cutting point to explain the rich connotation of"ren".Following part of Fingarett's views on the study of Confucius,Roger T.Ames points out the dynamic development of"ren"and proposes focus-field theroy and other relevant theories,which promotes a better understanding of"ren"in American Sinology.
