摘　　要：五圣信仰是太湖流域民间信仰的核心之一,不仅在岸民当中,就是在太湖周边的水上群体中也是如此。通过对水上五圣传说的分析可以发现,水上人接受五圣信仰的同时,也在改造五圣传说,使新文本与水上礼俗相适应,实现了五圣叙事版本的多元化,更与水上人日常生活中的一些重大礼仪活动发生了直接的关联。这类水上文本,呈现了区别于岸民的叙事框架,而且在反映太湖流域水上群体社会生活的基础上,又带有明显的跨地域流动的集体记忆。水上五圣传说保留了大量水上人社祭和香汛的珍贵素材,也映射出五圣俗信的生命力和时代特征。The belief in the Five Saints is one of the core folk beliefs in the Taihu basin,not only among the shore people,but also among the water community around Taihu.An analysis of the Five Saints’legend on the water reveals that the water community,while accepting the Five Saints beliefs,are also transforming the Five Saints’legend,adapting the new texts to the water rituals,completing a pluralistic version of the Five Saints narratives,and directly relating them to some major ritual activities in their daily life.This type of water ritual text presents a narrative framework that is distinct from that of the shore people,and is based on a reflection of the social life of the water community in the Taihu Lake basin,but with a collective memory that is distinctively mobile across the region.The legend of the Five Saints on the Water preserves a great deal of precious material about the ritual sacrifice and watery pilgrimage,and also maps out the vitality of the Five Saints beliefs and its contemporary characteristics.
