摘 要:区域性的食物是一种具有丰富内涵的文化象征符号。而这一拥有本地印记的符号常被用于标记和传达某一群体的身份认同,用以区分自身与“他者”。《世说新语》中的羊酪与莼羹作为南北食物的代表,蕴含着南北强弱关系的政治隐喻。当孙吴政权走向死亡之时,陆机等亡国之臣面对北方士人对南方物产贫瘠的讥讽,不得不以“莼羹”相对。永嘉南渡以后,西晋虽然着意笼络吴人,但南北文化冲突却并未止息。百年之后,南北实力对比易位,王肃虽然为东晋大臣王导之后,却也不习惯北方的羊酪了。这也说明在东晋南北文化在冲突中逐渐走向融合。Regional food is a cultural symbol with rich connotations.The symbol with local imprints is often used to identify a group,to distinguish"us"from the"Other."As a result,it was endowed with political metaphors during the special period such as the conflict between the North and South.As the representative food of north and south,goat milk and water shield in Shishuo Xinyu contain the political metaphor of the power relation between the North and South.When the state of Wu collapsed,Lu Ji and other officials from the south had to reply with"water shield"in response to the northern scholars'sarcasm about the inferiority of the southern products.However,after the Jin court escape to the south,though he intended to win over the Wu people,the cultural conflicts between the North and the South did not stop.One hundred years later,the balance of power was changed.Although Wang Su was the successor of Wang Dao,a minister of the Eastern Jin Dynasty,he was not used to the goat milk in the North.This also shows that the northern and southern cultures in the Eastern Jin Dynasty were gradually merging in the conflict.
